PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE, TODAY

Preparing a will is something many people leave until later in life, but that doesn’t always have to be the case. Creating your own will to secure the future of your estate is a great way to ensure your valuables, property and other assets are shared amongst only your nearest and dearest, leaving out any confusion by giving everyone a clear picture of your true wishes.

At A.S. Wagner Solicitors we take a sympathetic approach to will writing and take the time to understand your preferences, including if you wanted to leave some or all of your assets to a charity that’s close to your heart.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T CREATE A WILL?

Failing to leave a will can result in lengthy delays in administering your assets and can lead to the unwanted introduction of inheritance tax fees. It has also been known to create family rifts, as arguments break out over who gets what.

The lack of a will usually means assets go to family first, typically in the order of married partners, children, grandchildren and finally other relatives. In the event where there are no family members, the Crown will inherit your estate.

A will can help to prevent all of this and leads to a more organised distribution of assets based on your wishes. It also allows you to distribute assets to people who would not normally be able to benefit, such as carers, friends and unmarried partners.

TRUST US TO EXECUTE YOUR WILL

A.S. Wagner Solicitors’ executry solicitors can also help your family efficiently wind up your estate and distribute its contents under the guidance of your will. Our years of experience in doing so has enabled us to carry out such action with efficiency and precision, helping your family transition with as little difficulty as possible, to give them the space and time they need to make funeral arrangements and plan for the future.
